Using Clay's API + Table ID Is there a way to return the total number of rows in use in a specific table?
The available Clay API integrations focus on looking up and retrieving specific rows rather than returning table metadata like row counts. You can use the "Lookup Multiple Rows in Other Table" action to find multiple rows based on specified criteria, but this requires searching for specific data rather than getting a total count. Clay tables have a 50,000-row limit, and this limit applies to the total count of all rows including visible, hidden, deleted, or filtered rows. However, the current API integrations don't provide a direct method to retrieve the total row count for a table. Are you looking to count rows for a specific purpose, such as monitoring table capacity or performing conditional logic based on table size?
It's not about an issue with an existing table. What I'm looking for is a mechanism that gives me visibility outside of Clay in a centralized dashboard of what the remaining capacity is for all of the tables that we have running enrichments. This way I can proactively create new tables before hitting table limits.
Hi Mark, the tables at the top left of screen show a row usage number. Is this still your issue?

We do not have a public API endpoint, so that unfortunately won't be possible at this time.
