Hi, considering upgrading to the pro+ plan and was curious if the salesforce integration can lookup if a lead is a current opp in salesforce and have some indication I can use to flag the ones that are. What does the lookup bring into clay?

Yes, the Salesforce Lookup Records action can identify if a lead is a current opportunity in Salesforce. This function works like a VLOOKUP in Excel, searching for a key string you provide within a specific Salesforce object field. The lookup brings any Salesforce data that's accessible to your connected account into Clay, including: ** Contact information ** Company data ** Opportunity status ** Custom fields You can use this to flag leads that are current opportunities by: 1. Setting up a lookup that searches your Opportunities object 2. Creating a column that indicates whether a match was found 3. Using this data for segmentation or conditional logic This is particularly useful for avoiding duplicates, pulling CRM data, and running exclusion checks.
