Hey All, looking for some inspiration and advice. I am working with a group of IT partners and building out clay tables for each of them based on their stack and workloads etc. I would like to create a custom agent for each that captures their expertise and products they specialize in along with some reference clients etc. Wondering what the best way would be to create custom agents for them to use in prompts for research and creating content for campaigns and outreach. I dont think a custom system prompt will work for all the clay prompts or agents but not 100% sure. If anyone has done something similar or if should be doing this in n8n and feeding n8n with clay, i can look at that too. I do have a lot of n8n stuff running for them too.
For custom agents in Clay, use Claygent with custom prompts rather than system-wide prompts. Create partner-specific Claygent prompts that include: ** Their tech stack expertise ** Product specializations ** Reference client examples ** Industry focus areas Each Claygent can be customized with unique prompts using the S.P.I.C.E. framework for different research tasks. You can build prompts for finding prospects in their specialty areas, researching companies that match their stack, or generating personalized outreach content. This approach lets you maintain separate "agents" per partner within individual Clay workflows, rather than trying to apply one system prompt across all Clay functions.
