Hi All! Need some quick help. I'm wondering why my clay table only receives leads on Saturday's and doesn't work daily. I checked zapier but it doesn't seem like it's an issue there but it might be an issue with clay setting. Anyone have an idea of how to change it to daily? Thanks!
Clay has a scheduling feature that can help automate your table to run continuously rather than manually. For automated lead flow from external sources like Zapier, you can set up webhooks or use our Zapier integration to push data to your Clay table automatically. However, the specific scheduling settings that control when your table receives leads aren't detailed in the available information. Are you using Zapier to send leads to your Clay table, or is this happening through another integration or automation setup?
The Saturday-only timing suggests your Zapier trigger is configured to run weekly instead of continuously. Check your Zap's trigger settings - it may be set to a weekly schedule or have a filter that only processes data on Saturdays. For continuous lead flow, ensure your Zapier trigger is set to run immediately when new data is available, not on a scheduled basis. You can also create a webhook table in Clay to receive data automatically from your lead source without scheduling restrictions.
Hi Shant, thanks for sharing the table link. Sounds like the data is coming from a zap? If Clay is the recipient here, naturally it doesn't have control of when data is sent to it. And we don't have any visibility into those outside sources. Prior to the rows on 7/19, 7/26, and 8/2... I see entries on 7/5, 7/2 and 7/1. Do you recall making any changes in that period between 7/5 and 7/19? Do you have any records that indicate submission to Pardot on non-Saturdays?
No that was just me testing it manually at the time. Once the Zap was active, it started to only send on Saturday's
Ah, that makes sense. If you have some indication on the Zap side that data was sent to Clay on other days, I'm happy to research further. As is, I'd recommend reviewing the zap settings (and/or data sources that feed into the zap) to check on the timing.
Thank you Mark! Yes, currently looking into it but I'm not able to find any settings for the scheduling of the Zap. I'll let you know if I'm able to solve on my end.
You're welcome!
Unfortunately I haven't been able to solve for this.
Zapier requires me to change the trigger function for the zap to schedule but when I do that I'm not able to add Specter as the second step in Zap. It says "No Action Available." for Specter.
I am able to add the Trigger step as Specter but can't add Schedule as the second step in the Zap in this instance.
Ah, so the zap for Specter requires a weekly schedule?
It doesn't really explain that it requires a weekly schedule. It just doesn't let me at a Schedule trigger then add Specter as a second step in the zap.
Would that mean it's an issue from the specter side?
