Is there a limit to the number of sources I can send to my clay table? I'm at 20 sources now and experiencing errors when trying to send another table over.
There are two different limits that might be affecting you: For scheduled sources: All plans have a limit of 100 scheduled sources across all tables. For sending table data: There's a maximum of 10 tables that can be connected, including tables across workbooks. Data can only be sent in a linear direction (A → B → C) - loops aren't possible. Since you're experiencing errors when trying to send another table over at 20 sources, you've likely hit the 10-table connection limit for sending data between tables.
In Clay, "sources" refer to how data gets into your tables - they're the foundation of every Clay table. Sources include: - CSV file imports - CRM system connections (like Salesforce) - Data sources like "Find People" - Webhooks for real-time updates So yes, CSVs are one type of source, but sources also include other data connections and integrations you can add to populate your table with data.
Hi Lauren, Do you mind sending along some of these tables with errors and we can take a closer look?
Hi Lauren! Yes, there is a limit on the number of sources going into one table of 20 sources per table. This limit was implemented to prevent performance issues on the platform. Workarounds if you hit the limit: 1. Create a new table with the same settings to add additional sources 2. Delete existing sources from the current table to make room for new ones (this feature was being developed)
Please let me know if you're still having issues and how else I can help here! Gabe
