Hi Clay S. I have an issue, in a table, the AI Enrichment doesn’t work on any provider (ChatGPT/Gemini), it just loads but it doesn’t normalise the Company Name.
This sounds like the enrichment is stuck in a loading state. Try these steps:
Click on the column header of your AI enrichment column
Hover over "Run column" in the dropdown
Select "Force" to jump start the column
Alternatively, click into the specific cell that's stuck loading - it might show "waiting for its inputs." You can then click "re-run this cell" to make it work
If you're specifically trying to normalize company names, note that this is a separate function from AI enrichments. You'd find "Normalize Company Names" under the Tools section in the enrichment panel, not under AI providers [1]
Can you click into one of the stuck cells to see what error message appears? This will help identify if it's a loading issue or something else
If you still need help with the AI enrichment issue or normalizing company names, I’m here to assist. Would you like to provide more details about what you’re trying to resolve or any error messages you see?
This looks like your column is stuck in a queued state. Try creating a new column by duplicating the current one and running it on the affected rows.
You can filter for rows where the current column "is empty," then run the AI on those rows. Afterward, use the "merge columns" feature to combine the results.
If that doesn't work, click the column header and select "Force Rerun Column" to reset it. Also try clicking into one of the stuck cells to see if there's a specific error message that could help identify the issue.
Did that answer your question?

I have a different issue now, when I want to push the lead to instantly, I don’t have the option to add custome variables:
The Custom Variables field is there in your screenshot - it's just collapsed at the bottom. Click the arrow next to "Custom Variables (optional)" to expand it. [1]
Important note: any custom variables you use in Clay must already exist in your Instantly campaign. Due to API limitations, you need to add them to the campaign in Instantly first (via an import), then you can map them in Clay.
Did that answer your question?
There is no arrow on the left of Custom Variables. Thas is the problem here.
Thanks for letting me know. I’ll connect you to a human agent who can assist further with this issue.
