I'm confused, all my AI prompts are Chat GPT 4.1, but some have more options than other or different icons
You're likely seeing different AI integrations in Clay that use GPT models. There are multiple ways to access GPT in Clay: • Use AI - Our main AI feature with three models (GPT, Claude, Gemini) and various configuration options • ChatGPT: Generate text - Direct OpenAI integration using Chat Completions API • ChatGPT: Generate text (legacy) - Older OpenAI integration using Completions API Each integration has different interfaces, options, and icons even when using the same underlying GPT model. The "Use AI" feature offers the most flexibility with model selection, account management, and advanced prompting tools.
These were created in the same way, but give very different results, I'm confused
Clay has three primary AI interaction types, each with different interfaces and capabilities even when using the same GPT model: • Default AI Integrations - Direct connections to AI models for data cleaning and copywriting • Claygent - Our custom model combining generative AI with agent capabilities for web scraping • AI Formulas - Pre-generated code snippets for data organization Even within Claygent, different model options (Neon, GPT-4, Claude) offer varying interfaces and capabilities. GPT-4 provides enhanced reasoning but different formatting options compared to our Neon model. The different results occur because each integration processes prompts differently despite using similar underlying models.
