Unroll Feature Availability in GTM Free Trial: Need Help

I’m trying to unroll results from my GTM step so each contact appears as its own row, but I can’t find the Unroll option anywhere in my workspace. I’m wondering if this is related to the free trial limit (since unrolling would expand the table beyond 50 rows), or if I’m just missing where the feature is located. Could you please help me understand whether Unroll is available on the free plan and how to access it? Thanks!

There isn't an "Unroll" feature in Clay - instead, you'll use "Turn items into rows" to expand your contact lists.
To access this: click into the cell with your contact list, then hover to the right of the list to see the action menu. Select "Turn items into rows" to move each contact into its own row in another table.
Alternatively, you can use "Send row for each item in a list" by going to Actions → Send table data, which flattens lists by sending each person as a separate row.
Your free trial does limit tables to 50 rows, but the feature itself is available on all plans. If expanding would exceed 50 rows, you'd need to upgrade to access those additional rows.

You're looking for the right functionality but it's not called "Expand list to new rows" in Clay. You have two options:
Option 1: Click into the cell with your contact list, then hover to the right to see the action menu. Select "Turn items into rows" to move each contact into its own row in another table.
Option 2: Use "write to table" by going to Actions → Send table data, then choose "Send row for each item in a list" to flatten your lists into separate rows.
Both methods will create individual rows for each person found, which is exactly what you're trying to achieve.

Yes, both methods will create individual rows for each person found in your list. "Turn items into rows" moves each contact to its own row in another table, preserving all the contact data. "Send row for each item in a list" does the same thing - it flattens your lists so each person becomes a separate row. Both preserve the complete contact information when expanding your results.

i am trying to keep the table exactly the same just with one new row per each of these contacts like it currently is
