So I’m using a column from another table to filter on company … for some reason it’s the wrong table, I need to change it but it is impossible - why? How can I change it?
Clay doesn't automatically update tables when you change source filters because it doesn't reprocess previously generated data.
To see updated results with your new table selection, you need to either:
** Delete and re-run the step that generated the data
** Duplicate the table with the updated source
If you're referencing columns from another table, you may also need to re-run the company row in the people table to see new values.
Hey,
You’re right—there’s currently a bug that’s preventing you from changing the table used in the filter. We’ve flagged this to the engineering team and they’re working on it.
In the meantime, the quickest workaround is to create a new source with the correct table. We’ll follow up once this is resolved.
Thanks for your patience.
Hey, sorry about that—could you send over the table where you’re still seeing the bug? I’ll pass it to the team so they can take a closer look. Appreciate your patience.
