I have a question - When I deduplicate a column on work email enrichment field, and then I add the same contact to the table, will Clay proceed to find the work email again and then deduplicate the row? If that's the case, then should I be using some other field for deduplication?
When you enable auto-dedupe on a work email column, Clay will continuously monitor that column for duplicates. If you add the same contact again, the system will detect the duplicate email and keep only the oldest row (deleting the new duplicate). To set this up: 1. Open your table settings dropdown 2. Select "Enable auto-dedupe" 3. Toggle it on 4. Select your work email column This is an effective approach for email deduplication since blank cells and entries over 200 characters are automatically excluded from the process.
