Excluding Phrases in Dedupe Function: Need Help with Clay

Clay S. Wondering if anyone encountered the same limitation with Dedupe function in clay: I am trying to use auto dedeupe on a table, but trying to get it to exclude certain phrases from the dedupe function. For he screenshot below: I only want to dedupe the rows that have a client link (Making sure there are no duplicate clients) , instead of deduping all the "No Client Assigned" Is there a way to do this?

Our auto-dedupe function doesn't have built-in filtering to exclude specific phrases like "No Client Assigned." Workaround options: • Manual column dedupe: Right-click your client column header > select "Dedupe" > manually review and delete only the duplicate client rows (not the "No Client Assigned" ones) • Filter then dedupe: Create a filtered view showing only rows with actual client links, then apply auto-dedupe to that filtered view The auto-dedupe feature currently works on exact string matches across all values in the selected column.
