Hi there! I’m using a Find Job action and I’d like to know how to make it so that when I change the filters, the previous results get cleared from the table and only the new ones are displayed. In other words, I want the new results to overwrite the old ones, instead of just appending to the existing list. Is that possible? And if so, how can I set it up in Clay? Thanks!
When you change filters on a source (like Find Job), Clay doesn't automatically clear previous results—it appends new ones. [1]
To see only the new filtered results, you have two options:
Clay doesn't reprocess previously generated data automatically, so one of these manual steps is required to clear old results.

If you need any more help with managing your Find Job action results, please let me know. Would you like to provide more details about what you're trying to achieve so I can assist further?
Thanks for the clarification! I went ahead and deleted all the rows from the table, then re-ran the Find Job step with the new filters. But I ended up with 0 new results — nothing showed up. Am I missing something? Should I be resetting or reinitializing something else before re-running the step?
If you deleted records from your Find Jobs table and then re-ran it with new filters, you may not see those same records re-imported to the same table configuration.
To get fresh results, you'll need to reconfigure the Find Jobs search from scratch in a new table or duplicate your existing table with the updated filters.
Also, check if your source is set to "static" instead of "dynamic"—a static source won't automatically pull new jobs. You can change this in your source settings to set up imports on a schedule.
If you're still seeing 0 results after trying these steps and need further help, click on Talk to a person to get human assistance.

Got it — thanks! Just to clarify: where exactly can I check or change whether my Find Jobs source is set to static or dynamic? I couldn’t find that setting in the source block options. Can you point me to the exact place or menu where that setting lives?
To change your Find Jobs source from static to dynamic:
Click the source column title in your table
Click Sources and select your source name
Click Edit source
Choose "On a schedule" and set your preferred frequency (Day, Week, or Month) [1]
This converts it to a scheduled (dynamic) source that automatically imports new jobs matching your filters at the cadence you specify. [2]
Did that answer your question?
Is there a way to duplicate just the Find Job block, instead of duplicating the entire table? I’d like to reuse the block with slightly different filters, but without having to duplicate the whole table each time.
You can't duplicate a single source block, but you can save column groups as templates to reuse them.
Select multiple columns (including your Find Jobs source column) by holding ⌘ (Mac) or ctrl (Windows) and clicking their titles. Right-click one title, choose Save as template, name it, and click Create template. [1]
Later, apply this template to any table to quickly recreate those columns with your saved configuration—just adjust the filters as needed.

When i select Find Jobs source column, it says : You can only create templates that include Basic and Action fields.
Source columns (like Find Jobs) can't be saved as column group templates—only Basic and Action fields can. [1]
To reuse your Find Jobs configuration with different filters, duplicate the entire table instead. This preserves the source setup, and you can then adjust the filters as needed for each version.
