I'm having trouble trying to figure out how many companies in total I've got in a table. I've used the lookalike companies feature and am getting a fair number of lookalikes. I'm sending them to another new table, and each row has a different email address. All good and in the format that will work for my CRM. I need to know how many distinct companies are in the new table though. I have tried to use the Lookup Multiple Rows in Other Table feature, using the company URL row as a comparison row (also separately tried the Company Name row) and got 0 records back both tries, even though the first 2 rows in the column have the same URL and company name. Can anyone help me figure out what I'm messing up?
To count distinct companies in your table, use the dedupe feature: click the Company Name or Company URL column header and select "Dedupe" from the dropdown. For the Lookup Multiple Rows issue returning 0 records, you can use this integration to count prospects from the same company by scanning for matching company domains, names, or URLs. The integration works within the same table or across separate tables. Alternatively, transfer the company column to another table using "write to table" and run deduplication there.
I was trying to use the Lookup multiple Rows to look for matching company domains. It didn't work, so telling me to use that to fix this issue isn't very helpful at all. I will try using write to table for the company column and dedupe there
