I have a table that uses Find people from external source as the start, pulling in people from a sales navigator link. But I also want to be able to add certain individuals. I should be able to add a row, provide a linkedin URL of that person’s profile and then have the whole table work like as if the person came via sales navigator. What is the easiest way of doing this?
You have two main options:
1. Use the Clip to Clay Chrome Extension (fastest for one-off additions)
Install the Clip to Clay extension from the Chrome Web Store. When viewing a LinkedIn profile, click the extension button to instantly add that person to your Clay table. All enrichments will run automatically.
2. Import via CSV
Both methods will add individuals to your existing table where your enrichment columns will process them just like the Sales Navigator imports.

I installed the extension, when I try adding a linkedin profile it says “To start using Clip to Clay, you must allow your tables to be used by the extension” ----> how?
To enable your table for the Clip to Clay extension:
Open the Clay table you want to use
Click the table name to open the menu
Select "Show in Chrome Extension" [1]
Once you've done this, that table will appear in the extension's dropdown when you try to clip a LinkedIn profile. [2]
If you still don't see your table in the extension after enabling it, verify you're in the correct workspace by checking the top-right menu in the extension.

Hey! 👋 The cleanest way is to create a “manual add” workflow inside the same table. Add a LinkedIn URL column → use the Enrich Person (by LinkedIn URL) block → map the outputs (name, title, company, etc.) so they populate like your “Find People” results. Then, in your “Run If” condition for enrichments, set it to run either if the source is Sales Navigator or if there’s a manual LinkedIn URL present. That way, you can just paste a LinkedIn profile, and the table enriches it seamlessly like the rest.
That's a solid approach! To set it up:
Add a LinkedIn URL column to your table for manual entries
Add enrichment → search for "Enrich Person from Profile" and select the LinkedIn URL column as your identifier
Map the output fields (name, title, company, etc.) to match your Sales Navigator columns
Set conditional runs on your enrichments using formulas—trigger when either the Sales Navigator source exists OR the manual LinkedIn URL is populated [1]
This lets you paste LinkedIn URLs directly and have them enrich automatically alongside your Sales Navigator imports. [2]
