Hi, I am planning a series of virtual roundtables with speakers/guests from our TAM. Would like to know if anyone else here created a playbook to run this program successfully.
How can I upload a list of companies into Clay and find people who have been as speakers in webinars/roundtables have attended events with a certain job title
How can I automate outreach to these contacts in the platform?
Is there a way I can connect my leadership's LinkedIn profile to Clay and find lowest hanging fruits who are connected to him already but also meet the two requirements mentioned above?
To upload companies and find speakers/event attendees: Upload & Find People: 1. Import your company list to Clay with LinkedIn URLs or domains 2. Go to "Actions" → "Find people at these companies" 3. Set filters for job titles and use "Past Experiences" to match companies, titles, and experiences against past experiences 4. Preview results, then import to new table Automate Outreach: Clay integrates with 100+ data providers and APIs to automate enrichment, personalization, and outreach workflows. You can create simplified workflows where teams upload CSV files, and Clay handles enrichment, finding decision-makers, and pushing data to your CRM with personalized outreach materials. The platform allows you to automate segmentation, lead qualification, and use AI to summarize insights for personalized messaging.
Set filters for job titles and use "Past Experiences" to match companies, titles, and experiences against past experiences 4. Preview results, then import to new table I am not doing a generic contact enrichment activity. I would like to see contacts who have been on webinar panels/speakers in events before.
Hi Vamsi, Thanks for reaching out to support. While we’re unable to share other users' builds directly, I recommend exploring Claybooks and Clay Templates to see if someone has created a workflow similar to what you're trying to accomplish. You can find more information and browse available templates here: https://www.clay.com/university/guide/templates-and-claybooks-overview Let me know if you’d like help navigating these resources or have any other questions. -Nicole
I created a worksheet and used AI for the same. Wanted to check if this is the only way of doing it? Or is there a better way? https://app.clay.com/workspaces/514543/workbooks/wb_0szwnwkeTf4rEapKDE8/tables/t_0szwnwutmD2iNaMNyfv/views/gv_0szwnwvCgPV9H8gd7Qh
Hi Vamsi, Thanks for reaching out to support. Looking into this now. -Nicole
Hi Vamsi, I took a look at your table and wanted to suggest an alternative workflow that might work better for what you're trying to accomplish. Since you have a list of companies you're interested in, I’d recommend using the Find People search. You can input those companies into the filters, and from there, surface individuals who work at those companies, for example, marketing leaders in your case. Once you’ve identified those people, you can use the enriched company data and pair it with AI web scraping. First, have the AI search for relevant content (e.g. blog posts, leadership pages), and then prompt it to parse through that content and extract specific names or roles. If you're looking to deepen your understanding of how to use these tools effectively, I highly recommend checking out Clay 101 on Clay University.
