How to reliably match SMB company records in Hubspot for outbound campaigns
Hi all! Question about Hubspot lookups... Context: My org sells primarily into SMBs who looove to change their domains, emails, etc. As I pull lead lists from Clay to run outbound on, I want to cross reference it with Hubspot to make sure I'm not sending outbound emails to current customers or late stage prospects. The problem: I can't figure out a reliable matching key on the company level. Since we sell into SMBs, the Open Mart & Google Maps company-sources are very important and one of our main draws to using Clay. For each type of matching key I use, a different assortment of "records found" come up. (Yup, our Hubspot data is messy....) But even if I wanted to clean up our Hubspot data via Clay (which I do!) - I need to run a match in the first place. Example: Here's a list of 46 Open Mart Photography Companies. I've tried 5 different matching keys and all return different results. And I'm sure there are others I'm missing. Any ideas on how I can simplify this process? Unfortunately, the Hubspot integration doesn't include a "contains" like Salesforce does. It only does exact match.
