Hey Support team, could I get some help on understanding credit usage? I have a test workflow that seems to have used up half of my monthly credits but I don't understand why because I didn't run anything in it. Could I get some help on understanding why that is ?https://app.clay.com/workspaces/149722/workbooks/wb_wgAoowBtKBhD/tables/t_x47aQnBziio6/views/gv_Uq7vzdDizXhw
I understand your concern about unexpected credit usage. Let's clarify a few points: 1. Credits are primarily used for data enrichment tasks, such as accessing lead or account research data. 2. List building, prospecting, and data cleaning are free and don't use credits. 3. When testing new integrations or AI enrichments, it's best to start with a small sample (about 10 rows) before running the entire column. This helps identify and fix errors in advance. To understand why your credits were used, we'd need to review your specific workflow. It's possible that an enrichment task ran unintentionally. I recommend checking your workflow for any active enrichment integrations. If you need more credits, you can purchase credit top-ups or consider upgrading your plan. No
So credits are user based on the list existing? Not the list being enriched?
Hey Isaac - If you click on the column header "Run Info," you will see how many credits it used. It seems the table was on auto update and you kept sending values into this table, so all of those values that were added afterward were being enriched.
Ok, what do you mean I kept sending values into the table? There are no calculated rows in the table
Hey Isaac, thanks for reaching out. Believe what Bo is referring to here is that in this GIF it shows a HubSpot import table. This table pulls any new contacts into Clay every 24hrs, if there were new contacts in this table and "Auto-Update" is turned on for a work email waterfall, any new contact would automatically get sent into a work email waterfall assuming all inputs are available. However, it looks like the table you've created was deleted. Let me know if this makes sense and if you have any other questions. :)
