I am using the loxo / clay integration. Clay seem to only update email addresses back into Loxo as "personal" I want "work" emails updating for client accounts. how do i do this?
We don't have a specific setting to automatically update "work" emails instead of "personal" ones in the Loxo integration. However, you can use the "Update Person" action in Loxo to manually update email addresses for client accounts. To do this: 1. Use the "Update Person" action in the Loxo integration. 2. Provide the Person ID of the client account you want to update. 3. In the "Email Address" field, input the work email you want to use. This process allows you to update email addresses on a case-by-case basis, ensuring you're using work emails for client accounts. Is there a specific reason you need to update multiple client accounts with work emails, or are you looking to do this for individual accounts?
Thank you, I understand this and I am using this process for updating candidates. the challenge is that when updating clients, work email addys are being placed back into Loxo at "personal" i need to fix this
Unfortunately, we don't have a specific setting to automatically categorize emails as "work" in the Loxo integration. This process allows you to update email addresses on a case-by-case basis, ensuring you're using work emails for client accounts. If you need to update multiple accounts, you'll need to repeat this process for each one. Is that what you were looking for?
yes, a human

Any update?
Hi Dan, thanks for reaching out. Taking a look at this now!
I don't see any pushes to loxo set up in this table, it seems like you're just looking up people with the find person action. Can you share the url to a table where you've set up the update or of the lead to push email data and the mapping issue is happening?
I removed it as it was redundant for that table
The mapping issue is that the integration does not make a distinction between a "personal or work" email address
added back in
Hi Dan, sorry about the dealy here! It seems as if all issues which are occurring in this table are related to stale data. You set up your workflow to obtain certain outputs but then edited some of the inputs within the workflow, causing stale data. To solve this, you will have to update your upstream cells by selecting "re-run this cell" as follows:
You can see that rows run successfully once the upstream inputs have been updated correctly.
Hi Bruno, thank you. I know that the cells run fine. this is not my issue
when "updating a contact" there is no ability to push an email address as a "work" instead of "personal" back into Loxo
This issue still persists. I really need to speak to someone
Hey sorry for the long wait on this, asked the team for further clarification on how integration with Loxo is connected. After some checking my end I don't believe we have this option in the integration setup to send emails as either work or personal.
It defaults to personal. Who would make this change? Clay or Loxo?
Clay can only send the data to which ever data point is shown as "open". IS there an option make certain data points "visible" or "invisible"
Within Clay or Loxo?
Apologies, within Loxo I mean. As I mentioned before Clay can only send to which ever endpoints are available. Is there an option in Loxo to make certain variables visible?
