Hey guys I have been dealing with some problems pasting linkedin urls to the tables, its the first time that this happens, it says invalid data format and its weird since I have been doing the same process for a while and never got an issue with it
The "Invalid data format" error when pasting URLs typically occurs due to column data type mismatches or formatting issues. [1]
First, check your column data type - ensure it's set to "URL" rather than "Text" for URL inputs. To fix this:
Click the column header dropdown
Select "Edit column"
Click the gear icon and change the data type to "URL"
Save your changes [2]
Also ensure you're using complete URLs with https:// (e.g., https://www.linkedin.com/in/username/). [3] Note that Sales Navigator links aren't supported.
If the issue persists, try clearing your browser cache and refreshing the page, as this can resolve temporary display issues.
Is that what you were looking for?
If you still need help resolving the invalid data format issue, I’m here to assist. Would you like to provide more details about what you’re trying to paste or any other errors you’re encountering?
yeah Im still not able to paste it, the column is as URL format so there's no problem with that
Since your column is already set to URL format, let's check the URL format itself. Make sure you're using complete URLs with https:// (e.g., https://www.linkedin.com/in/username/). [1]
Also verify that you're not trying to paste Sales Navigator links, as these aren't supported. [2]
Try clearing your browser cache and refreshing the page, then attempt pasting again. If you're still getting the error, can you share the exact URL format you're trying to paste?
I’m sorry the issue with pasting URLs is still happening and I’m here to help if you need further assistance. Would you like to share more details about the URLs you’re trying to paste or any other errors you see?
I just cleared the cache, refreshed the page and got the same error
Since clearing cache didn't resolve the issue, let's troubleshoot further. Can you click into the specific cell where you're seeing the "Invalid data format" error? This will expose more details about the error message.
Also, can you share the exact URL format you're trying to paste? Make sure you're using complete URLs with https:// (e.g., https://www.linkedin.com/in/username/). [1]
If you're still experiencing front-end performance issues after clearing cache, this could be a temporary display problem.
This is the format that im using since ever (https://www.linkedin.com/in/anthony-a-3b2946124/)

Try pasting the URL into a different cell or column to see if the issue persists across your table.
I've tried to paste it in different cells but the same error pops up
Since you're experiencing this error across multiple cells after clearing cache, this appears to be a front-end performance issue.
