To create rows in another table from a nested object or a string that represents a list, use the Write to Table feature with the "Send row for each item in a list" option. This will flatten your list or iterable string, turning each item into its own row in the destination table.
Steps:
1. In your source table, ensure the cell contains a list (not just a plain string).
2. Click Actions
→ Send table data
.
3. Select the destination table.
4. Choose Send row for each item in a list
.
5. Map the relevant properties to columns in the new table and save.
This process is ideal for handling nested or array-like data, making each item individually accessible in the target table.
Hi Christopher, thanks for reaching out! I see what you're trying to do here! Right now, each field that you want to create as it's own row needs to have its own field. Our write to table enrichment cannot parse a string. Instead, you could parse this object by applying a formula here when you're selecting a list from a column. I'm not seeing the row that you sent over in the screenshot, did you delete this from your table by chance? The formula approach would be something like this:
Thank you, I figured out a better solution! Just forgot to update this thread ❤️ Thank you Tanvi R.
What did you end up doing Christopher? Glad you found a better solution!
i checked the bot told me to try. the “send table data” its pretty neat! ❤️
Ah yes, this is our newer iteration of write to table! What did you like about it compared to write to table?
its like the same to “write to table” but yet it feels more powerful since you have control on what data you want send.
Will share this feedback with our team, thanks Christopher! Let us know if you have any further questions.
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback Christopher O.!
