Hi. I have a list of companies on a spreadsheet. I have the province or state they are located in. For this search, it is in Canada, so a province. I want to automatically search in google maps for example or other area to fin the business phone number. Anything else we find would be amazing as well like email address and or decision maker but not necessary. Is this possible? Thanks
π Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hey there Benjamin thanks for reaching out, to start off you can upload you spreadsheet as a CSV into Clay. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171710142/d0127a4f7ca73e3b6dabfb4f/image.png?expires=1725669000&signature=dc24b8471882f579325dc676ac1b2f72d4019ff5997821fb024bb2727dcae3b9&req=dSEgF85%2FnYBbW%2FMW1HO4ze5biJ%2FC%2Fd1cqpG6X7l3hIuDhsDZwfn6WRUUxUHr%0A2On%2F%0A Then if you happen to have the website of each company you use our Claygent integration to search for the phone numbers of the companies for you. Giving it a prompt similar to to the one below will be have Claygent go and search these companies for the phone numbers. You can also prompt Claygent to search for the email and decision makers of the company as well if given a prompt to do so. Adjusting the prompt below, with something like the following: "visit the website and search for the companies phone number and email address, this information will most likely be in the contact us page of the website", will help you find more information with Claygent. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171710860/659509c98839480dc3c8b02d/image.png?expires=1725669000&signature=b85c7b10a64bee0f9256872d4847e39bb948b51755fea37c04711494f305451e&req=dSEgF85%2FnYlZWfMW1HO4zbJ46D0NL26a2icbGSNWp8pDj91R4fPgViyWutzw%0AK6Td%0A
This is great thanks. I dont have the website. Can I still do this?
Yes, you can ask it to find the data, but youβll also need to link it with the company information. For example, βFind /companyname phone number and return itβ would work. Adding more details will improve accuracy and help ensure the right data is pulled. π I used the / to link the column in this example. Let me know if you need any further assistance! π
Thanks. Please break it down how I would import the company name and the province of the company. Then break down how I would run a search to find the phone number of each company. I need to very simple and step by step like you were explaining to a 5 years old who knows nothing about your system, automations and AI. Thanks
Hey there - just wanted to check in here to see if you needed anything else! Feel free to reply back here if you do.
yes see my question above your comment
Hey Benjamin! Thanks for the reply. Happy to help here. Step 1: Import a csv of your company list. Here's a quick guide for importing CSVs: https://www.loom.com/share/77bea7d9e0944a8f9e19f8ffcac25500 The import csv action can be found in the + create new section in your workspace. Click on that option, select table. In the "companies section", select "import companies from CSV". Step 2: Run Claygent to find company phone numbers. I made a quick video guide here showing how to do this: https://share.cleanshot.com/lQ6gwzJf Also sharing some additional resources for using Claygent here: https://www.clay.com/university/lesson/claygent https://www.clay.com/new-changelog/introducing-claygent-neon Let me know if this helps!
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
