I'm currently on annual Starter plan (bought 2 months ago) and want to upgrade now to Explorer plan. When I click to change plan, the stripe checkout requests to pay the full 3.768 USD, although I already paid 1.609 USD on Dec 29th for the annual Starter plan. How can I UPGRADE, so that i only pay the remaining difference?
Currently, when upgrading plans, the system bills the full amount as it provides you with the complete credit allocation for the new plan and resets your billing cycle. However, you can receive a refund for your Starter plan payment when upgrading to Explorer. This refund typically reflects within 10 days. To upgrade your plan: 1. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner and select Settings 2. Navigate to Plans & billing in the left sidebar 3. Click the Change plan button 4. Select Explorer plan and review the details 5. Click Upgrade to confirm

Is the refund for the Starter Plan done automatically? Or do i have to request it?
When you upgrade from Starter to Explorer, the refund for your Starter plan payment will be processed automatically. You can expect the refund to reflect in your account within 10 days. Keep in mind that once the refund is processed, the credits corresponding to your Starter plan will be deducted from your account.
