For Lead Scoring, how do I set up a formula where leads will get the assigned score if at least one of the keywords match?
To set up a lead scoring formula in Clay where leads get the assigned score if at least one keyword matches, follow these steps: 1. Create a new column in your table and set its type to Formula. 2. Use the Formula Generator to create your custom formula. 3. For keyword matching, you can use conditional statements to check if any of your specified keywords are present in the relevant field. 4. Utilize our built-in lead scoring modal to make the process easier. Select the number of scoring criteria you'll use (up to 15). 5. In the modal, set up your keyword criteria and assign scores accordingly. 6. Use the "write to table" feature to apply your scoring formula to your leads. Remember to review and adjust your scoring model as needed to ensure it accurately reflects your priorities.
For this - I'd like the lead to get a score of 2 if it has ONE of the keywords
Hello Tiffany! Thank you for reaching out! I’ve recorded a quick video to walk you through how to set up a lead scoring formula where a lead gets a score of 2 if at least one of the keywords match. Let me know if you have any questions—I’m happy to help!
Hey Anaum K.! Thanks for the Loom. Unfortunately not exactly what I'm looking for. When I have a larger list of values (screenshot), I want the row to get a value as long as ONE of the keywords is there. If they have multiple keywords present, I don't want them to get double-counted. Link if helpful
Hey Tiffany S.! Sorry for the misunderstanding! I’ve added a formula column called Score in your table as an example of how to set things up so that it only awards once per row (even if multiple keywords are present). Take a look at the Score column and let me know if that matches what you need or if you’d like me to tweak the logic further!
