How can I filter a table on another table's data? For example, I'm pulling a list of leads into a table but I notice some of these companies are actively working with us. How do I exclude companies from my Current Companies table?
You can exclude companies from your Current Companies table in two ways: Option 1: During Company Search Setup When using Find Companies, configure the "Exclude companies" parameter to select your Current Companies table. This prevents those companies from appearing in search results. Option 2: Filter Existing Table 1. Click Filter above your table 2. Select + Add filter 3. Choose the company column you want to filter 4. Select not equal to or does not contain as the operator 5. Enter values from your Current Companies table to exclude The first option is more efficient for new searches, while filtering works for existing data.
I pulled in a list of leads from Phantombuster, but the table I want to filter on is separate. How do I do this?
Use the Lookup Single Row in Other Table action to cross-reference your tables: 1. Add a new column in your Phantombuster leads table 2. Select Lookup Single Row in Other Table 3. Configure inputs: • Table to Search: Your Current Companies table • Target Column: Company name/domain column in Current Companies • Filter Operator: Equal to • Row Value: Company field from your leads table 4. Then Filter your table: • Click Filter above the table • Select the lookup result column • Choose is empty to show only leads whose companies aren't in your Current Companies table This excludes companies already in your Current Companies table from your leads list.
Hey there Jenise thanks for reaching out, what I recommend doing here is using a "Lookup single row in other table" integration. What this will do is you will go ahead and match a data point inside of the current table, for example the domain column and in the table you're going to you want to search in, you will also match to the domain column. And when it runs it'll look to see if there any matches if you do see a match that's how you know that this company or lead or exists inside of your database and so that's a duplicate that you don't want to enrich and if it comes up as no record found then you know this is entirely a new lead that you can now go on and enrich
