Troubleshooting Blank Data in Clay Table Webhook from Salesforce

Im trying to import data to a clay table via a webhook. Im sending from Salesforce using am Outbound Message with the clay endpoint url added and some field selected that I want to pass through. I see the webhook is firing because it shows up in clay, but it is blank. Any ideas?

When webhook data appears blank in Clay, it's typically a data formatting issue. Salesforce Outbound Messages send data in SOAP XML format, but Clay expects JSON format. To troubleshoot this, can you copy and paste the JSON payload that Salesforce is sending to the webhook? This will help identify the exact formatting issue. For Salesforce-to-Clay webhook connections, you'll need custom Apex code to properly format the data as JSON before sending it to Clay's webhook endpoint. The standard Outbound Message format won't work directly with Clay's webhook parser. Alternative: Consider using Clay's native Salesforce integration actions (Create Record, Lookup Record, Update Record) instead of webhooks unless real-time data transfer is essential.
