Fixing Markdown Bullet Lists in Clay's Google Doc Creation

I'm using Clay's Google Doc creation and the content area says it supports markdown, but it's not working correctly. I've tried using "-" and "*" to create bulleted list in the generated Google Doc, but it is not working.
