I have tested to writing a long prompt to make a personlized line based on someones linkedin post. I can't seem to get it to write in the frame I want, even though I have given it 10 examples. Can someone help?
Under the "linkedin post summary (1) column
Hey Hakon, thanks for reaching out, sorry for the delay! Taking a look
thank you, did you find something?
Sorry, got caught up in calls but addressing this now
I made some changes, let me know if the responses look a bit better and check out what stuff I moved around + gave chatGPT clearer directions on how to navigate the prompt! This video may also help in future prompting :) https://www.loom.com/share/784694524e6b4e25aca0b83608e42784
did you figure it out?
I saw it now, the output was better. Can you help me also make the subject line based on that firstline better. Even though I'm saying dont use words like "chat" in the subjectline it does that
its the "casual subjectline creation" column
and the last thing I need help with now is the "case study column" I cant get that one consitently putting out good sentences for me either
And is there a way for for example only run the case study promopt for people who dont have posted on linkedin etc? and how do you export just the leads who have posted on linked to instantly.ai for example
can you also help me with all of this?
Hey Hakon, I would recommend adding more examples of what you do want the subject lines to look like, this will help improve the results.same thing goes for the case study column, do a few more examples of the input -> what you want the sentence to look like.As for only running the case study prompt, I recommend using the AI formula generator inside of the Doncitional Formula box at the bottom of your case study prompt column, the same thing can be done for your instantly column.
I have done that, and even though in my subjectline prompt I saw specifcially dont mention the words chat it does it on almost all of them. Do you know how to fix thaT?
Also I have added lots of examles and still I cant get the subjectline to fit and be human enough. Can you help me improve the prompts?
can anyone help?
Hey Hakon! Sure, I'll take a look at these prompts. Also, that video above outlines best practices when doing so too, so it's great to keep things in mind and handy
What I did last time was give chatGPT the indication to not mention those words but I specified this in the Custom AI role, because that's the first thing chatGPT reads, so by asking it twice in two different sections, it should understand a lot better.
I added some of this to that section and it appears to be working for 1-2 that I spotted as bad outputs. Let me know if it's more consistent now or check the setup to add to it.
Okay thank you. So for future prompts, what is it I should include in the custom AI role? Should I have the whole prompt there too or just the most important parts?
Just the important parts like guardrails you'd like to keep in mind and avoid. You can repeat that same context in the prompt too to reiterate/reinforce it but usually, that alone helps since it's the first context chatGPT reads. This guide - AI for Sales Prospecting: A Complete Guide does a very good job at outlining how to structure prompts so outputs are much more consistent.>
Okay thank you. And how do I let one column only run if the conditoons on the last column was not met. Meaning if they have not any linkedin posts, only then I will run AI enrichement and finding case study from their website?
also an urgent questions, I'm exporting the data to google sheet, and it will not export the whole sentence. It just cuts it off. How can I fix that
You can see it just says ..... instead of finishing the sentence like it is in clay
Thanks for the follow up! Here's a video on how to fix incomplete CSV outputs- https://www.loom.com/share/adb9da478b7048d7a5f3325385a4cf90?sid=fd9f403f-2a7a-4b72-822a-c44d9b801635
About the conditional formulas, here's a quick video on how to use them/set them up to follow a logic like you're trying to build- ยญhttps://www.clay.com/learn/how-to-use-ai-formulasor this other example of chatGPT personalization waterfall + conditions: https://www.loom.com/share/f73d46385002402fb8e4f88016329ef8?sid=7e3eebf5-4f29-45d0-9201-65de05598cf6
