Hello - how to upgrade the plan so I'm not double charged? I have a current plan, I want to upgrade it, but I have a renewal date by 29th July. It seems I will pay the full price today, and again in 2 days. How to solve that?
When you upgrade your plan, your billing cycle resets immediately and you're charged the full amount for the new plan. Currently, our system doesn't offer prorated billing - it charges the total amount because you receive the corresponding credits and features immediately.
Your existing credits are preserved and added to the new plan's credit allotment. The team is looking into incorporating prorated plans for future updates.
Vik Clay automatically prorates your upgrade so if you upgrade before your renewal, you’ll only pay the difference, not get double charged.
If the price at checkout still shows full just message support@clay.com or ping the team in Slack they’ll adjust it manually.
