hi clay team, can u please check and confirm how almost 8k credits got used up in my table? Is it possible to revert my last action and re-allocate the credits?
I can't directly check your specific credit usage, but I can guide you on how to investigate this yourself. To check credit usage in your table: 1. Click your account name in the corner 2. Go to Settings > Credit usage 3. Within Workspace, you can view tables sorted by usage For table-specific details: 1. Open your table 2. Click ⟲ View Table History at the bottom right to see which columns used credits Unfortunately, we don't have a way to revert actions and automatically recover spent credits. To prevent unintended credit usage in the future: ** Test enrichments on a few rows first ** Turn off auto-update by clicking the three-dot icon beside the table name * Check column credit costs by right-clicking and selecting "Run Info" If you need further assistance, please request human help.
Hey there Ankit thanks for reaching out, sorry to hear about this, have gone and added the credits back to your account.
Thanks
I think the issue happened again
Hey there Ankit taking a look at this table no credits were used here however they were used inside of the following table on Tech Stack and AI columns: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/430254/workbooks/wb_ADszEVRqa4fQ/tables/t_4PMxz6qemFZx/views/gv_Xacr4zxTyZEZ
the table shared the same issue again. It ran without any confirmation. https://app.clay.com/workspaces/430254/workbooks/wb_nm7XEEHEybqK/tables/t_WcW9rMh55g2Y/views/gv_MYFFYPM9FA9w Can you please check?
Hey there Ankit sorry for the delay here, taking a look at this I see that a number of rows were added via HG insights, which would each charge credit per row added along with any integration that are inside of the table.
But, we put a cap on the number of rows that were supposed to be enriched when creating a source but it still went ahead and added that many rows
Also, it doesn't reflect the no of credits used in the credit history
if u check the credits used this month, it's just 4k
Hey there Ankit, I replied in the other thread, but I'll respond here as well, what happens is that the HG Insight integration is not properly tracked with the Table Credit History tab and so if you were to look at the integrations tab you will notice that the HG Insights has nearly 9000 credits used up.
okay, but the issue was created where despite putting the scraping restrictions to a maximum of 20 rows, HG Insights went ahead and added close to 200-250 before i realized that something's wrong. That is when i reported.
Ah I see apologies here, misread that from before, have gone ahead and added back the credits from the extra rows that were not needed here then.
Appreciate it!
how to avoid this in the future
coz everytime i put 20 rows, it still keeps on adding until credits are utilized
also, can u take a quick look at this table? After enriching all the profiles with work email using waterfall, it doesn't pull the list in the last coloumn 'Work Email' https://app.clay.com/workspaces/430254/workbooks/wb_nm7XEEHEybqK/tables/t_0syenc92ApdMXuDZHyE/views/gv_0syenc9bPVvxNzZn65c
Got it. Here’s what’s happening: HG Insights charges per result based on what you’re enriching. For example, product usage costs 8 credits per result. If there are multiple enrichments or products returned, credits add up quickly—that’s why it can exceed expectations. As for the ‘Work Email’ column not updating, it’s because auto-update is turned off. Without it, the table won’t refresh once data is available, so results won’t appear unless manually refreshed. Let me know if you have more questions.
