Hi, is there a way to see a log of everything that was imported from Clay to Hubpsot and the actual workbook it came from?
You can track some export activity through our credit usage section - go to Settings > Credit usage to see folders, workbooks and tables sorted by usage. [1] You can also find your CSV exports in the "Exports" tab on your workspace homepage.
However, these features don't specifically track imports from Clay to HubSpot with workbook details. The available tracking is more focused on exports from Clay and general credit usage by workbook.
Are you looking to track this for audit purposes, or is there a specific workflow you're trying to monitor?
If you need any more help with tracking your imports or understanding the export logs, please let me know. Would you like to provide more details about what you're trying to achieve so I can assist you further?
thank you! im trying to audit and to see where they are coming from because I have contacts coming in without an email or without a surname and I dont know who or what workflow is doing that.
Unfortunately, Clay doesn't have a direct audit log that shows which specific workbooks created contacts in HubSpot. However, you can trace this by checking your HubSpot integration columns in each workbook. [1]
Look for tables with HubSpot "Create object" or "Update object" actions - these will show you which workbooks are pushing data to HubSpot. You can also check if any workbooks have conditional runs set up that might be creating contacts when certain fields are missing. [2]
For the incomplete data issue, check if your workbooks have validation rules before sending to HubSpot. The best practice is to set up conditional runs that only create contacts when required fields like email and surname are present. [3]
Which workbooks are you currently using to send data to HubSpot? That would help narrow down where the incomplete contacts might be coming from.
If you still need help identifying the source of incomplete contacts or auditing your workflows, I’m here to assist. Would you like to share more about the workbooks or workflows you’re using to send data to HubSpot?
