Hi Clay Team, I’m running into an issue with one of my tables. The data from the Company column suddenly disappeared, and all enrichments tied to that column were wiped out along with it. I’ve been trying to restore the data, but I’m getting conflicting guidance from Sculptor and Support, and I’m not sure what the correct path is. Can you please help me understand how to fully restore the Company column and its associated enrichments?
Unfortunately, Clay cannot recover deleted or overwritten column data. We don't track row history or deletions, so there's no way to restore previous data directly from within the platform.
For deleted columns specifically, we cannot recover them - they must be re-created and data re-fetched from providers. Your best options are:
• Re-import the Company data from your original source
• Manually update the missing data
• Re-create the column and re-run enrichments
If you need help recovering credits used for the lost enrichments, request human assistance by clicking "Talk to a person" so we can look into it with you.

I understand this situation is frustrating, and I’m here if you need any more help with restoring your table data or enrichments. Would you like to provide more details about what you’re trying to resolve so I can assist you further?
Why would it delete all the data?
Clay doesn't automatically delete data. However, data can be lost when tables are overwritten during re-runs or when someone accidentally deletes or modifies columns.
Since we don't track row history or deletions, there's no built-in recovery mechanism once data is overwritten. If you're in a shared workspace, it's possible someone else made changes to the table.
Was that helpful?
No, not helpful.
I'm sorry for the frustration this has caused. I'll connect you to a human agent who can assist you further.

Hey Nicholas, currently there is not a way to recover lost columns, but you can set up a new send table data action to send over all the data from your company table to your people table. I wish there was an easier way to do this and rest assured that it is something we are working to make easier going forward. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with :)
Mitch H., that doesn't solve my problem. What data would I be sending to my people table? Clay deleted all of it. Why would Clay delete all of my data? All of my enrichment are gone.
Understood. We are are currently seeing a widespread issue stemming from an AWS outage that is impacting Clay workspaces. If it would be helpful I could authorize a 2k credit refund to get you back up and running once this issue is resolved. Let me know if that would be helpful :)
I count 160 rows, with 28.1 credits per row. That's 4,480 credits wiped out.
Are you sure there is no way to recover this data? I don't understand how it just disappears.
