Hello, we are about to use Clearbit enrichment via the Clay connector. We have thousands of records that will be put through. Is there any rate limiting we should be aware of? i.e. It will stop after 5k records for a daily limit.
There is no daily rate limit that would stop Clearbit enrichment via the Clay connector after 5,000 records. For most plans, the main limits are per-query:
Starter Plan: up to 5,000 searches per query
Explorer Plan: up to 10,000 per query
Pro Plan: up to 25,000 per query
Enterprise Plan: up to 50,000 per query
For API-based enrichment, the guideline is 10 requests per second (or 20 per second in bursts), which totals about 864,000 requests per day. Bulk enrichment features allow processing of millions of rows with no row limits or slowdown, especially for enterprise users. You should design your workflow to stay within these per-query and per-second guidelines, but there is no hard daily cap at 5,000 records [2] [3].
Did that answer your question?
If you need any further assistance with Clearbit enrichment limits or have more questions, I’m here to help. Would you like to provide more details about what you’re trying to achieve or any specific concerns you have?
I am about to enrich 20k records through clearbit and want to give a time estimate. I wanted to make sure there was no blockers or delays I should be aware of.
You can enrich 20,000 records through Clearbit using the Clay connector without hitting a hard daily cap or row limit. The main rate limit is 10 requests per second (or 20 per second in bursts), which means processing 20,000 records would take about 17–34 minutes if running at maximum speed. There are no built-in slowdowns or row limits for bulk enrichment, but processing time may vary based on network conditions and workflow setup. For best results, break large jobs into batches and monitor for any processing delays or API quota issues [2] .

Thanks this is complete
