Is there an issue with Clay's Native "Find People"? I'm getting returned with a list of Amazon employees, my input list of domain names are being ignored.
Check your Find People setup - ensure your Company Identifier is correctly mapped to your domain column and Table Reference points to your company data table. The feature should use LinkedIn URLs ideally, but company domains work as alternatives. If results seem inaccurate, review your search filters and parameters to better target desired profiles. Try previewing results before importing to verify the search is working correctly with your domain list.
I am using website URL for People search and I'm seeing “Invalid Input” in the rows—even though the search itself worked and people were found.
The "Invalid Input" error occurs because Find People works best with LinkedIn URLs as the Company Identifier, not website URLs. While company domains can work as alternatives, they're not the ideal input format and may trigger validation errors even when the search successfully finds people. To resolve this, try using LinkedIn company profile URLs instead of website URLs in your Company Identifier field for more reliable results.
I tried with LinkedIn company URL, Still the same Issue. 2 things
Why am I getting Amazon employees?
Why is it showing input error even now?
Check your Find People setup: For Amazon employees appearing: ** Verify your Table Reference points to the correct company data table ** Ensure your Company Identifier column is properly mapped to your LinkedIn URLs ** Review your search filters and parameters to better target desired profiles For input errors with LinkedIn URLs: ** LinkedIn company profile URLs should be the primary identifier for highest accuracy ** Double-check that your LinkedIn URLs are formatted correctly (e.g., 'https://www.linkedin.com/company/clay-run') ** Try previewing results before importing to verify the search is working correctly The issue suggests your Company Identifier mapping may not be connecting to the right data source, causing the search to default to unrelated companies like Amazon.

Hey Swapnil - Do you mind sending the link (url) to the table so we can take a look? Happy you help you work through this.
Hi! Sorry about the issues you are facing here - the invalid input issue is occurring because of a bug that has already been raised to our engineering team. I notice that your workspace has another ticket open about the same issue, so going to merge this here over with that ticket so that you can get the fastest update when a fix has been shipped!
I am going to go ahead and close out this ticket if it's okay as you have another one open about the same issue, which is currently being worked on. If you have any other issues that pop up please feel free to reach out to us again, and we'll be able to solve it for you! Best, Aditi

Hi Swapnil, Our engineering team is still looking into this, we'll update you as soon as we know more.
As mentioned earlier, we have an ongoing ticket with Gushwork AI open about this very issue, so I'll close out this ticket and update in the main thread. Thanks!
Munnawar H. actually that ticket got closed!
However, the issue still persists
Hey Swapnil! Thanks for reaching out. Apologies for the confusion. We were communicated that the issue has been resolved but looks like the engineers are still working on it. I have linked this current ticket with the issue and we will receive all updates on this in the ticket itself. Thanks for flagging this again. We will continue working on this and reach out soon!
Great news! We are delighted to inform you that we have received a response from the team and they have resolved the issue. I have personally tested the update and can confirm that the four rows of the last column (Update People Search) are now updated. As for the other two columns (Leadership and Market Persona), they started running but I have paused their run. Could you please try refreshing the page (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R) and let us know if the issue has been resolved on your end? If you continue to experience any difficulties, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we worked on resolving this issue. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
