why has the colour thing changed
The purple color you're seeing indicates an AI snippet in your message draft. In our email sequencing feature, different colors represent different elements: gray for column references, pink for AI snippets, and blue for conditional snippets.
We also recently introduced color columns functionality that lets you color-code essential columns in your tables by right-clicking column headers. [1] The purple tag you're seeing is likely part of our color-coding system for AI-generated content.
Did that answer your question?
Why is the whole column header not coloured like previously?
If your column header coloring appears different than before, it may be because you're viewing a different table view or the color settings weren't duplicated to your current view.
Did that answer your question?
What's this weird little tag thing? It didn't answer my question

That is just the new 'color' highlight for the columns. We are testing out some new features for our UI at the moment :)
