How do you deduplicate records with clay from your CRM given that we only have 50k table limit for exclusion lists?
For managing the 50k limit: split data into smaller tables, create a central exclusion table and reference it using "lookup single row action" without duplicating rows, or upgrade to Enterprise for Passthrough Tables that bypass the limit.
You can also use Clay's auto-dedupe feature within tables by selecting the auto-dedupe button and choosing a unique identifier column.

So we are integrated with hubpost and we want to get new leads from Clay. We want the new leads to not be already in our CRM. The problem is that the exclusion list that we can put is only limited to 50K ROWS.
Instead of using exclusion lists, use HubSpot Lookup columns to check existing CRM data before adding new records. [1] Set up "Create or Update Contact" actions with conditional runs that only execute when no matching contact ID is found from your lookup.
For the 50k limit, consider these options:
- Split data into smaller tables and process them separately
- Create a central exclusion table and reference it using "lookup single row action" without duplicating rows
- Upgrade to Enterprise for Passthrough Tables that bypass the 50k limit entirely
This approach positions Clay as a gatekeeper, preventing duplicate data from entering your CRM. [2]

original question: "How do you deduplicate records with clay from your CRM given that we only have 50k table limit for exclusion lists?" Can this be done with Audiences?
To manage the 50k limit: use Passthrough Tables (Enterprise Plan) to bypass the standard limit entirely, split data into smaller tables, or create a central exclusion table and reference it using "lookup single row action."
While the Audiences feature can sync millions of CRM records, our sources don't specify if it addresses the 50k exclusion list limitation for deduplication workflows.
