If I have the ID of a message in slack, can I use Clay to respond to the message in a thread? e.g. if I had the id of this message, could clay start a thread beneath this

No, our Slack integration can only send messages to channels, not reply to specific messages or start threads. [1] The "Send Message to Channel" action posts new messages to designated channels but doesn't support threading functionality or replying to existing message IDs. [2]
You can send messages with custom bot names, emojis, and formatted content, but they'll appear as standalone messages in the channel rather than threaded replies. [3]
