Hi support. I’m unable to assign an organization from a table to a deal owner in Pipedrive. How do I do this?
Our Pipedrive integration allows you to create and update organizations in Pipedrive from Clay tables. You can create new organizations with fields like name, address, and custom fields, or update existing organizations using their unique ID. However, the available actions focus on organization management rather than deal assignment workflows. Our current Pipedrive integration doesn't include specific functionality for assigning organizations to deal owners. Are you looking to create or update organization records in Pipedrive, or do you need to establish a different type of relationship between your Clay data and Pipedrive deals?
I’m looking to create an organization. How then do I map the organization to the right deal owner in Pipedrive?
You can create organizations in Pipedrive from Clay using the "Create Organization" action, which includes fields for name, address, and custom fields. However, our Pipedrive integration doesn't include functionality to assign organizations to specific deal owners. The available actions focus on creating and updating organization records rather than deal assignment workflows. You'll need to handle the deal owner assignment directly within Pipedrive after creating the organization through Clay.
Enrich your data so each row includes the Organization ID and the Deal Owner (User ID) from Pipedrive. Use the Pipedrive Create or UpdateDeal integration In the integration step Map the Organization ID to the “Organization” field Map the User ID to the “Owner” field
Our Pipedrive integration includes actions to lookup, create, and update organizations, as well as lookup and create people. You can use the "Lookup Organization" action to find organization IDs from your existing Pipedrive data. However, our current Pipedrive integration doesn't include deal-related actions like "Create Deal" or "Update Deal" that would allow you to map Organization IDs and User IDs to deal records directly from Clay. Are you looking to work with existing deals in Pipedrive, or would you need to create new deals with the organization and owner assignments?
If you only have the Organization name Clay can look it up using Find Organization in Pipedrive” Same for Deal Owner use Find User in Pipedrive if you don’t have their ID
You're correct! Our Pipedrive integration includes lookup actions for both scenarios: For Organization lookup: Use the "Lookup Organization" action to find organizations by name, address, or custom fields. You can search with just the organization name and it will return the organization ID. For User lookup: Use the "Lookup Person" action to find users by name, email, phone number, or custom fields. This will help you get the User ID for the deal owner. Both actions allow you to specify search terms and choose whether to require exact matches, making it easy to find the IDs you need even when starting with just names.
You're correct - our Pipedrive integration currently only supports actions for organizations and people, not deals. The available actions are: ** Lookup, create, and update organizations ** Lookup, create, and update people We don't have "Create Deal" or "Update Deal" actions in our Pipedrive integration at this time. You'll need to handle deal creation and assignment directly within Pipedrive after managing your organization and person records through Clay.
can claygent find annual rev of a company if i create a prompt?
Yes, Claygent can find annual revenue with a custom prompt. You can create prompts for various financial research tasks, including finding company revenue information. However, we also have dedicated revenue enrichments available that may be more reliable than custom prompts. These include Company Revenue and Company Revenue Range data points from providers like Clearbit, Owler, and Datagma. For the most accurate results, consider using our revenue enrichments first, then supplement with Claygent for companies where standard enrichments don't return data.
