'Waterfall Email Enrichment'
Curious about what others are doing to gather emails while keeping credit usage low.
When running the email waterfall I have 3 or 4 providers and a validation tool on. Sometimes each provider gives back the same email and the validation tool denies it each time. This is costing way more credits than I would like.
Wondering what creative ways people are navigating this?
Best Practices for Gathering Emails and Conserving Credit Usage in the Waterfall Email Enrichment Process | Clay
Hi Owen, this is happening because the email verification tool (Debounce) can´t verify those emails, therefore it runs the next email provider expecting a different email that can be validated. You can deactivate debounce during the process and then use it only once in the last column, this will save you credits but won´t search for alternative emails.
Use tools like Findymail, Prospeo, and Icypeas as they only return verified emails. Remove Debounce and use this. Then again run enrichment without these tools and this time use Debounce.
Most effective + cost efficient!
Joyjit Ghosh - I heard someone say this so ran a split test for a recent campaign (brand new domains & emails) and the bounce rate was 7% vs using the validation bounce rate was 4%.
