Hey, having trouble using the “Companies, People, Jobs” integration. Every time I try to run the “find contacts at company” enrichment the quality of data is pretty bad. For instance, it will only show a fraction of the actual contacts at said company that are relevant to the search settings. It does not recognize job changes that have happened in the last 3-6 months (even if they are clearly listed and reflected on LinkedIn). I was wondering where this enrichment pulls its data from, why there are so many inaccurate results, and if there are more consistent alternatives?
The "Find Contacts at Company" enrichment pulls data from Companies, People, and Jobs data sources. The provider behind this integration is MixRank (https://mixrank.com/). Data accuracy issues may occur because the system only refreshes records that haven't been updated in over 45 days. This can lead to outdated information, particularly for recent job changes (within 3-6 months). For more consistent alternatives, you could try: 1. Using "Find & Enrich Person from Google Search" which leverages Google Search to locate LinkedIn profiles 2. Setting up automated refresh strategies to keep your data current 3. Using the "Enrich Person" action directly with LinkedIn URLs for higher accuracy
Doesn’t make sense. If the job update is 5 months old and the data is updated every 45 days then shouldn’t it show up when using the enrichment?
You're right to question this. While the system refreshes data older than 45 days, this doesn't guarantee all job changes will be detected. For more accurate job tracking, consider: 1. Using "Monitor for job changes" signal which specifically tracks employment changes 2. Setting up automated refresh strategies with custom timeframes 3. Using "Track Job Changes" with the historical check option to verify if contacts still work at specified companies These alternatives are designed to more reliably catch and report job changes.
I don’t really need job tracking. What I need is when I find people based on a company for the correct data to show up. I don’t need live updates of when people change jobs. Rather, if I am trying to find contacts at a specific company, I don’t want to overlook relevant ones because the data is out of date.
To ensure accurate "find contacts at company" data, you can: 1. Implement an automated refresh strategy using the "Last Enrichment Date" property to regularly update contact information (every 30-90 days). 2. When you enrich company data with new details, remember to rerun the lookup column in your Find People table to sync the updated information. 3. Use the linked tables feature to pull company data into your people table - whenever you add new company data, rerun the lookup to ensure all contacts have current company context.
