I can't add to my table some AI Actions I saved in my templates. Does someone know why this is happening?
What specific error message or behavior are you seeing when trying to add AI Actions from your templates?
When I click on the action, nothing happens. I can only edit the action. But it does not add to the table. These actions are saved in my templates, so the prompt is already built, and there is a model already selected. The only thing I should do in order to add them is click on them, but nothing happens.
Try these troubleshooting steps:
1. Force run the column: Click on the column header, hover over "Run column" in the dropdown, and select "Force" to jump start the run.
2. Re-run individual cells: Click on a cell that shows "waiting for its inputs" and click "re-run this cell".
3. Toggle auto-update: Turn auto-update off and on again, then accept the run prompt to update all rows.
4. Create a fresh column: If the issue persists, delete the affected column and create a new one, then re-map your data.
This often resolves issues when columns aren't processing correctly or appear stuck.
Was that helpful?
There is no column... Because I can't add the action as a new column. It does not let me for some reason. I have saved actions in my templates and I want to add them as a new column in my table, but it is not working.
You might be hitting Clay's column limits. Each table has a 70-column limit, with up to 40 action/enrichment columns allowed. [1] If you're at these limits, you won't be able to add new columns from your templates.
Check your current column count and delete any completed enrichment columns you no longer need. You can also split workflows into multiple tables using the "write to table" feature to manage these constraints.
To apply saved column templates, select multiple columns while holding ⌘ (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows), right-click, and choose your saved template. [2]
Is that what you were looking for?
I have 33 columns in my table
With 33 columns, you're well under the 70-column limit and 40 action column limit. [1]
To add saved AI Actions from templates: click "Add enrichment" > "Templates" and search for your saved template. [2]
If clicking still doesn't work, try refreshing your browser or clearing cache. The issue might be a temporary interface glitch rather than a column limit problem.
Is that what you were looking for?
I'll just wait, probably is an interface glitch
