While this is a great metric, it has some shortcomings, namely, it may not reflect actual employee numbers since it includes both current and former employees, as well as people who incorrectly claim association with the company. Hi, To clarify, when I said "former employees" I mean, folks who have maybe moved on but have not yet updated their employment status on Linkedin. (Often times between jobs, people don't edit their Linkedin information whilst trying to figure out their employment.)
