Hello! 👋 I've been one of the people who have used hundreds of credits with auto-update. Here's my desired state: A new row of data is added to a table from the RB2B webhook. I would like Clay to automatically enrich only the new row of data and not update any other run. How do I do this?
Auto-Update (Lower Right): Currently set to auto-disabled.
Auto-Columns Update (Run Settings in Columns): Currently set to disabled for all relevant columns.
What do I enable / set up to have these columns only run for the new row and not waste credits on existing rows by updating them.
To automatically enrich only new rows from the RB2B webhook without updating existing ones or wasting credits, follow these steps: 1. Set up the RB2B webhook integration with Clay to receive de-anonymized website visitor profiles. 2. In Clay, add the webhook as a table source: - For a new table, select 'Create new' and choose 'Monitor webhook'. - For an existing table, click 'Actions', select 'Import', and choose 'Monitor webhook'. 3. To save credits and only enrich new entries: - Go to 'Run Settings' for your enrichment columns. - Toggle on the Auto-Update button. This allows Clay to automatically enrich new rows added to your table. - Ensure auto-update is turned off for existing columns to prevent unnecessary updates. By following these steps, you'll ensure that only new data from the RB2B webhook is automatically enriched, saving credits and keeping your existing data unchanged.
Can you please clarify which auto-update needs to be disabled? Is it in the Lower Right or Run Settings in Columns?
Hi Sam, thank you for reaching out. In order to ensure auto-update is activated in your table , you should select the auto-update button, as shown below:

After selecting this button, the following menu should pop up:

You should then select "Turn on table" to have the table start auto-updating. This will enrich any rows that are added to the table without updating the other rows constantly. If this does not work as expected we will also be happy to provide a credit refund for any issues it causes. Let me know if this solves your issue!
Hey Stefano - Appreciate the reply. So to confirm, I should do the following:
Auto-Update (Lower Right): Currently set to auto-disabled. Turn on to be enabled.
Auto-Columns Update (Run Settings in Columns): Currently set to disabled for all relevant columns. Keep as disabled.
Is this correct?
