does clay return the same people every time i look for (example) one revops person at datadog? Is there any way to surface net new people than those who have been returned before or already emailed? or do yall actually import your entire TAM into a clay table and then lookup if that person has existed before
when i am monitoring a clay table of "target accounts" for signals like "new hires", "job postings", etc. - and i book a meeting with 10 of these companies, how do i stop monitoring these companies for signals as they should now be excluded. Is there a way to reflect this behavior so that each month our target account list gets smaller / changes and we are not monitoring accounts for intent with whom are customers or in active opps?
Clay searches return consistent results for the same criteria, but you can exclude previously contacted people using the "Exclude people" feature. [1]
For net new contacts: Use the exclusion parameter to select a Clay table containing people to exclude (up to 300,000 people total across 3 sources). This prevents returning people you've already emailed or contacted. [2]
For target account management: Use Enhanced Table Exclusions to exclude companies from searches. [3] Go to "Add Table" > "Find Companies" > use the "Exclude" section to select your customer/opportunity table as an exclusion source.
You can also maintain a central exclusion table and link it to your primary monitoring table for dynamic filtering without duplicating rows. This lets your target list shrink automatically as companies become customers or active opportunities.
