Quick question: I only have website URLs and I want to find the company emails based on the domain. When I use hunter and snov seperately in Clay, it gives an option to populate first name, last name, title, company, linkedin, etc.... but when I set the waterfall for the same, it only outputs the emails and no names... why?
The waterfall is designed specifically for email finding and only outputs email addresses by default. When you use Hunter individually, it requires a full name + company domain as inputs and returns additional person data. [1]
For waterfalls to return names and other details, you need "corner pieces" - the essential data points like full name and company profile URLs. [2] With just website URLs/domains, the waterfall can only find emails, not enrich person data.
To get names and titles, you'd need to first find people at those companies using company enrichment, then run person waterfalls with the full names you discover. [3]

Well, in the first tier I already did that, using name and domain.. now the reamining dataset doesn't have a name... only website URLs and we need emails based on that. If I setup hunter seperately it outputs the name, title and email all at once with only URL as an input...
Hunter's individual integration requires both Full Name and Company Domain as inputs to return additional person data like names and titles. [1]
When you only have website URLs without names, Hunter can't provide the enriched person data because it needs the full name as a required input field. The waterfall is designed for email finding when you already have the person's corner pieces (full name + domain). [2]
For URL-only scenarios, you'd need to first find people at those companies using company enrichment, then run person waterfalls with the discovered names. [3]
