Hi everyone! I have a question about lead matching in Clay: How can I match leads smart based on a table of company or job posting data (including attributes) and another table of lead data? Thanks in advance!
You can match leads with company/job data using the "Lookup Rows" feature in Clay. Use either: 1. "Lookup Single Row" for faster, one-to-one matches 2. "Lookup Multiple Rows" to find all matching records Set up the lookup by selecting your target table, specifying which column to match on (like company domain, name, or LinkedIn URL), and choosing your filter operator. This creates connections between your tables, allowing you to pull company attributes directly into your leads table without duplicating enrichment costs.
I'm currently facing two challenges:
I’d like to match each lead’s attributes (already split across columns) with the most relevant job postings and create a lead score — but I’m struggling with how to implement it.
The job postings were scraped and are currently stored in a single cell per row. I'm unsure if that format is sufficient, or if I need to split the job data into separate rows or a structured table similar to the leads.
