hey folks, curious how everyone here is actually using AI in their GTM workflow day to day. like - are you running a bunch of separate tools/agents for research, outreach, enrichment etc? or has anyone found a setup where it all actually works together? feels like i'm spending half my time being the glue between tools. wondering if that's just me.

Darshan I connected Lusha's MCP server so I can do all my enrichment right in Claude. This is how to set it up, if interested

I use gpt along with icypeas and clay, gpt is for the copy but for lead gen, enrichment, etc etc I do most with automation tools

swaroop m. not really at fullscale, curious how deep you go with it: are you using it as the main hub for research + enrichment, or just for one part and then jumping to other tools? trying to figure out if it actually reduces the tool-juggling or just becomes one more in the stack.

Jesse O. oh that's slick — enriching right inside Claude via the MCP is exactly the "keep it in one place" thing i'm after. would genuinely love the setup steps. how's it holding up in practice — does the context actually stay put, or do you still end up exporting results out to other tools afterward?

Huynh K. that combo makes sense — gpt for copy, clay/icypeas + automations for the lead gen side. the automation layer is the part i'm curious about — are you stitching those together in something like n8n/zapier, or is it more manual handoffs between them? feels like that glue is where everyone spends their hidden time.

Darshan yes you can do the research + enrichment with it. It basically has 2 claygent one for basic web scraping and second for web navigation and interaction.

swaroop m. oh nice, didn't know that. the thing i'm trying to figure out: does the research + enrichment actually stay in Clay and flow into the rest of your workflow, or do you still end up exporting it out to your outreach/CRM tools and losing the context in the handoff? that jump between tools is where it always falls apart for me.

Darshan you can sync it with the crm from clay itself but it's only for the paid plan But you can export csv from clay and upload it to crm that is the free alternative

swaroop m. gotcha — makes sense that the CRM sync is paywalled. that's actually the pattern i keep running into: each tool holds context great within itself, but the moment you step outside it (or hit the paid wall), you're back to manual glue. kind of makes me wonder what it'd look like if there was a layer sitting across all of it — so the context follows the task no matter which tool or agent picks it up, instead of living locked inside one platform. anyway, really appreciate you breaking down the Clay setup 🙏

Darshan i use n8n to pull em tgt but if that's if i only need them all at the same time. most of the time it's just icypeas + clay

Huynh K. n8n is a solid way to handle it - you're basically building the glue yourself instead of doing it manually, which is more than most people bother with. curious though - how's the n8n side holding up? every time i've gone that route, the workflows work great until something changes (a tool updates, a step breaks) and then i'm in there debugging pipes instead of doing the actual work. do you find it low-maintenance, or is it its own kind of upkeep?

swaroop m. Depends on what you're enriching. They have a pricing page that details further. Darshan Yeah, it's been super convenient not bouncing around tabs! As far as exporting vs. staying put, yes and no, depending on which other tools have a MCP

Jesse O. yeah, "depends which tools have an MCP" is the whole catch - you're only ever as connected as the least-connected tool in your stack. the moment one doesn't have it, you're back to exporting and gluing. makes me think the real fix isn't MCP-per-tool, it's a layer that holds the context itself —-so it doesn't matter which tools are connected.
