Switching from Chrome to Comet: Your Thoughts on AI Browsers?

Anyone playing around with the AI browsers? I've pretty much switched from Chrome to Comet at this point. Atlas was underwhelming imo.

Do you use Comet's agentic capabilities?

Barring a handful of use cases, I use it as a general browser

Same here, but I use the hotkeys a lot. I've also tried having it doing tasks, it's hit and miss so far. Sometimes it gives up on repetitive tasks.

What about Atlas was underwhelming for you?

The main thing is that Comet lets me bring my old Chrome extensions, while Atlas doesn't. I tried some of the features in the release video (contextual actions on highlight) but seems like it's not available for me yet.

Oh well I just started exploring Atlas today and was going to look into whether it imports extensions.

I’ve been forcing myself to use Comet 😄 There are couple of features that I find annoying compared to what I’m used to (e.g. not specifying where to download a file). Accessing and creating calendar events is nice. Assistant is the main feature I like, but it feels like I haven’t unlocked so many use cases yet. Would love to follow the convo here!
