Heey guys, does anyone know a more direct way to find the Company Status? Without using enrichment with Company Address.(because to import to Salesforce I will only need the state). What I have done so far is: Enrich with Company Address. Then ask AI to put only the name of the state it found in the Company Address column in a new column (which had many errors).
Gabriela B. I use this address parsing prompt that I have been working on. This is more US/Canada focused but it might help with how to fix the AI prompt to output correctly for SFDC. Address outputs in Clay are my least favorite thing right now
Task
<task>
We have a location output that is the full address in one string. I need to parse this into these individual fields:
Street
City
State/Province
Country
Zip
I need you to analyze the address, assess how the address is formatted, review the country formats for address and output the data into the individual fields.
</task>
Address

SAMPLE ADDRESS WOULD BE PROVIDED HERE
</address>
Instructions
<instructions>
1. Street: Include house number, street name, apartment/unit/suite numbers, and any directional indicators (N, S, E, W)
2. City: Extract the city/town/municipality name
3. State/Province:
*For US: Use full state (California, New York, Texas, etc.)
* For Canada: Use full province (Ontario, British Columbia, etc.)
* For other countries: Use full province/state name or standard abbreviation
4. Country:
* Use full country name (United States, Canada, United Kingdom, etc.)
* If no country is specified and format suggests US/Canada, infer appropriately
* For unclear cases, use "Unknown"
5. Postal Code:
* US: 5-digit ZIP or ZIP+4 format
* Canada: A1A 1A1 format
* UK: Postcode format (e.g., SW1A 1AA)
* Other countries: As provided
Special Cases
* PO Boxes: Include "PO Box" or "P.O. Box" in the street field
* Missing Components: Use empty string "" for missing fields
* Ambiguous Formats: Make best judgment based on:
* Postal code format (US ZIP vs Canadian postal code vs UK postcode)
* Common city names
* Address structure patterns
* Multiple Address Lines: Combine street address components with commas
* International Variations: Adapt to local addressing conventions
Examples
US Address: Input: "123 Main St, Apt 4B, New York, NY 10001" Output:
Street: 123 Main St, Apt 4B
City: New York
State/Province: New York
Country: United States
Zip: 10001
Canadian Address: Input: "456 Queen Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 2A4, Canada" Output:
Street: 456 Queen Street West
City: Toronto
State/Province: Ontario
Country: Canada
Zip: M5V 2A4
UK Address: Input: "10 Downing Street, London SW1A 2AA, United Kingdom" Output:
Street: 10 Downing Street
City: London
State/Province:
Country: United Kingdom
Zip: SW1A 2AA
When information is ambiguous or incomplete: - Make reasonable inferences based on available context - Prioritize accuracy for the information that IS clear - It's acceptable to have empty fields for truly missing components

Research
<research>
If you need clarification on address format standards for a specific country, you may do a quick search for standard address formats before providing output.

Final Checks
<final_check>
Verify that every piece of information from the original address string appears in one of the output fields - no data should be lost or omitted
Confirm you have not added any information that was not present in the original address string. If you can safely infer the country data or state data because something else was provided, you may add that. But make sure you are certain!
Ensure each component is placed in the correct field according to the instructions above
Verify that abbreviations and formatting follow the specified rules
All USA States and Canadian Provinces should be the full state written out, not the state code abbreviation.
Ensure that United States is not USA, US, United States of America. If output only United States
If the address states something about Global or Fully Remote, just output United States in the country only, with nothing in the other fields
</final_check>Hey! The cleanest way to get Company State without relying on full address enrichment is to use the “Verify Company Location” enrichment (instead of “Find Company Address”) — it usually returns structured fields like city, state, and country directly. If you already have a company domain, that’ll give you a faster and cheaper lookup. You can then map “State” to Salesforce without the AI parsing errors.
Hey Kabeer A. this would be perfect, thanks for responding! But I couldn't find this enrichments on the list. Did I get that wrong?
