Hi everyone 👋
I’m a final-year Data Science student currently working as a Lead Generation Executive. I’ve been hands-on with data enrichment, list building, cleaning company/contact data, and recently started using tools like Clay and basic n8n automations for outbound workflows.
I’m very interested in transitioning into a GTM Engineer role, but coming from a data science background, I’m a bit unsure about the right starting point and sequence (CRM, outbound systems, automation, etc.).
I’d really appreciate guidance on:
Where should I start if my goal is to become a GTM Engineer?
Which skills/tools should I prioritize first (CRM, Clay workflows, outbound tools, automation)?
Any recommended learning resources or projects that helped you personally?
Would love to learn from your experience. Thanks in advance! 🙌
