Is it possible to identify and count repetitive job titles within a company using Clay? For example, if a company has multiple employees with the same job title, how can I find out the number of occurrences?
Hey Eric! Thanks for reaching out. Currently, the "Find Employee headcount by Criteria" is not able to split those results out in one column unfortunately. The way to check for a count of multiple job titles at a company without an overall number being returned, is to split the search into multiple columns with each column representing one job title. You can also use a find people search with job title keywords added, and use Lookup in the people table to get a count of how many records have a specific title. However, with this approach, you'll need to format the job titles to be in the same sentence case (see example formula below). The Lookup column will also be set to search for matching job titles and it'll return a count per record of how many titles were returned. Subsequently, you can create another Lookup column in the main company table to reference those values.
